Why should an individual or family have their own domain name - in a
word - Independence.
By having your own domain name you have the flexibility to change ISP's
(Internet Service Provider) and/or move house or country without the
need to change your email address. It's your email address
and always will be.
As well as this, each family member can have their own email address
which is not tied an ISP. You can also run a family website
with family news and photos or even a shared family calendar.
Your domain is yours and having one gives you
independence and flexibility.
